Power washing technically means heated water. Pressure washing means unheated. In practice almost nobody, including customers and most companies, uses the words that carefully.
Method, not temperature. Concrete gets real pressure through a surface cleaner. Siding, stucco, paint, screens and vehicles get a low-pressure soft wash where the cleaning solution does the work.
Getting that wrong is what strips paint, tears up wood grain, lifts wrap edges and drives water behind siding.
Grease. Kitchen back-doors, dumpster pads, drive-thru lanes and shop floors respond to heat in a way cold water does not. On a driveway or a wall it makes very little difference.
Send a photo. We will tell you which method the surface takes and why, and you can decide from there.

FAQ
Neither is better. Heat helps on grease. For most residential and commercial surfaces the method and the cleaning solution matter far more than the water temperature.
Neither at high pressure. Siding wants a low-pressure soft wash.
